We have tried many different fluorocarbon materials over the years, but our experience shows that the classic Riverge Grand Max Fluorocarbon 25m is the best tippet material on the market.
It offers excellent knot strength and abrasion resistance, and its high stiffness gives you the ability to pair large flies with fine tippets.
We recommend combining this tippet material with the Riverge Tapered Leaders, and choosing the tip of the tapered leader about 0.2-0.3mm thicker than the Riverge Grand Max Fluorocarbon tippet material.
