Guideline LAXA 2.0 traction wading shoe rubber sole
The Laxa 2.0 is an updated version of the previous model with new design features and a new color scheme with a brown-olive exterior and orange lining. The previous PVC leather details have now been replaced with fabric for a better look and more environmentally friendly, and the boot is completely free of fluorocarbons (PFC). To minimize the ecological footprint, the boots are packed in boxes made from recycled paper.
A thin, additional layer of reinforcement in the forefoot and heel of the boot improves strength and rigidity and allows the boot to retain its shape when wading in deeper water. Other advantages of this reinforcement are better comfort and higher thermal performance, since less pressure is exerted on the toe area. The lower part of the boot is reinforced with rubber to withstand harsh environments and sharp stones when wading, and an EVA midsole increases comfort and cushioning when walking. The gusseted tongue and webbing loops for the laces allow for quick entry and exit from the boot.
The upper part of the boot has quick lace hooks and there is a wide webbing loop at the back. The Laxa 2.0 boots have a roomy Scandinavian fit and are extremely lightweight and quick drying, making them ideal for the hiking angler. The sticky Traction rubber sole with tungsten lugs offers excellent grip on most surfaces and also on slippery ground and river banks compared to felt soles. Rubber soles are also the only option in rivers where slow-drying felt soles are banned due to the spread of invasive species. Weight/pair in size US10 with traction sole is 1100 grams. Size US10 with felt sole is 900 grams. Available in sizes EUR 39-48, US 6-15.
