GUIDELINE Elevation Double Hand

The Elevation rods use the very latest material and fibre technology and feature the most environmentally friendly components possible.

Guideline is committed to developing more sustainable products and this rod range is designed to lead the way for future rod production. The new rod blank development process eliminates all unnecessary material at every stage of production. This not only leads to more environmentally friendly blanks, but also to new possibilities in blank design. These rods are extremely light and responsive (9' #5 is 72g / 2.53oz) yet the most robust blanks Guideline has developed to date.

In general, the rods have a sensitive tip that is still strong and crisp, with a smooth progressive curve further down the blank with a powerful handpiece. The action is easy to cast, forgiving and allows for accurate casts at high line speeds. The rods have a great line feel and is equally suited to all casting styles. In summary, these are top of the range rods with a light feel and action that will suit fly fishers at all levels.

Rod models

Elevation 12' #7/8 and 13' #8/9: Possibly the lightest rods ever produced in their respective line weight and length. Fast action with a sensitive and responsive tip make these rods a super option for small to medium sized salmon rivers. They work great with all types of Scandi-style casts and shooting heads, whether you're casting a multi tip or a full sinker.

Elevation 14' #9/10 and 15' #10/11: Powerful, strong rods that handle both Skagit-type heads and all types of multi-density sink heads with ease. The tip sections of these rods have more power than the two shorter and lighter rods above to cast larger flies, more wind and the heavier line types effectively. Incredibly light and well balanced.
