The Nextcast shooting heads are, in our opinion, among the best two-hand shooting heads currently available on the market. The powerful taper with extra weight at the rear end ensures that these shooting heads are particularly easy to lift and charge the rod even when there is no backspace for a pronounced D Loop. At the same time they have a very fine front taper, so they also harmonise well with long leaders and small flies. The coating is one of the best and softest we have ever seen, which is a real advantage especially with thick two-hand lines.
The full-length Salafinder40 shooting head is ideal as an all-round shooting head and works well at short, medium and even long distances.
