A classic sunglass silhouette gets the Bajío upgrade with a stronger and lighter bio-based nylon frame equipped with soft-yet-grippy rubber contact points. Our polarized lenses with proprietary LAPIS technology reduce glare and blue light transmission, making long days on the water far less tiring on the eyes.

Real glass or polycarbonate lenses?

The glasses from Bajio are basically made of two different materials, quartz glass or polycarbonate. Both materials have their advantages, while the glasses made of quartz glass shine in particular with their outstanding optical quality and clarity, as well as scratch resistance, the polycarbonate glasses offer a significantly lower weight and extreme impact resistance. 

Which color is right for me?

The color of the lenses can make a big difference on the water depending on the conditions. 

BLUE MIRROR / GREY BASE

The Blue Mirror color is the darkest of all Bajio lenses. It is ideal for off-shore fishing or extreme sun conditions, as well as for particularly light-sensitive eyes. 

GREEN MIRROR / BROWN BASE

The Green Mirror color is the ideal choice for any inshore fishing, whether in tropical climes or on a sunny day on our native Baltic Sea coast. Also a very good choice for sunny days on clear, sparsely vegetated inland waters. 

SILVER MIRROR / COPPER BASE

Medium-bright, high-contrast glass that is ideal for fishing in a wide variety of conditions. Perfect for emphasizing underwater structures even better. An absolute all-rounder. 

ROSE MIRROR / RED BASE

A lens that is ideal for moderate sunlight and overcast days. Also ideal for shady waters with a lot of bank vegetation. 

GREY BASE

A neutral lens for strong sunshine. Perfect for anyone who wants the most neutral image display possible. 

COPPER BASE

Non-mirrored, copper-colored lenses for high-contrast color reproduction in almost all lighting conditions.
