The 12ft leaders are an excellent choice if you are fishing larger rivers, stillwaters or inshore and want to improve your odds by minimizing the spooking effect of your fly line.
For coastal seatrout fishing we recommend the 12ft leaders with a diameter of 0.27mm, 0.25mm or 0.22mm especially on calm days with almost no waves and crystal clear water. You can combine these with a tippet of 0.25mm, 0.22mm or 0.20mm depending on the size and weight of your fly.
