Orvis Mission Shooting Line
The Orvis Mission Running Line is built on a braided core and comes with Orvis' well-known "smooth" coating. This is one of the best coatings on the market and is particularly smooth and supple as well as resistant.
The three different strengths cover all needs, from fly fishing with a one-handed rod for sea trout to fly fishing for salmon or steelhead with heavy two-handed rods. All running lines are tapered towards the shooting head end and provided with a loop. The taper at the front end ensures significantly better power transmission from the running line to the shooting head.
The cords are made in the USA and have a length of 30.5m.

In our opinion, the thinnest version of the Orvis Mission Shooting Line is perfect for fishing with single-handed rods or with ultra-light switch rods.

The 0.031'' version is ideal for fishing with heavy one-handed rods from class 8 upwards or for switch rods and light two-handed rods.
