Nam Ren two-handed rod

The new nàm Ren rod series is not intended as a successor to the Nam Delgado, but as an alternative. The combination of state-of-the-art, high-performance materials and a classic taper results in a balanced rod action that does not compromise on performance. The nàm Ren is ideal for anyone looking for a fly rod that combines absolute casting performance with a deep-loading action and feeling. Compared to Delgado, the nàm Ren are a little "softer", but allow similarly high line speeds and casting distances.

The action of the rods varies from model to model as each is designed for a specific purpose. In general, we particularly like the combination of the light and powerful material and the progressive, yet modern taper. This leads to a very pleasant Low swing weight action that makes it possible to use the entire blank and charge up to the handset.

Nam Ren 11ft6 #6 - 24g+ casting weight

The nàm Ren 490-4 is ideal as an all-round rod for small streams and floodplains. Whether with a dry fly, nymph or with small streamers. But it can also be used as an ultra-light rod for coastal fishing, on larger rivers or on lakes.

Nam Ren 12ft6 #7 - 27g+ casting weight

The nàm Ren 590-4 is the all-round rod for fine fishing and is particularly well suited for fishing with foam flies, both on the floodplains and on the coast. In addition, this rod covers a very wide range of uses and can actually be used anywhere, whether with dry flies, nymphs or streamers.

The nàm Ren 696-4 is the perfect streamer rod. The slightly longer blank gives you a noticeable advantage when casting underhand or when struggling with long grass or high banks. It is also ideal for fishing on the coast and on larger lakes.

Nam Ren 14ft #9 - 36g+ casting weight

The nàm Ren 799-4 is the ideal rod for fishing for sea trout on the local floodplains, but also in general for fishing for sea trout and salmon in smaller rivers, as well as streamer fishing for large brown or rainbow trout. The 9'9'' length makes it ideal for underhand casting while also making it a very good choice for big lake fishing.
