We have put together a perfectly coordinated combination with the new Guideline Coastal LPX for you. This complete set is ideal for light fishing for sea trout on the Baltic Sea coast. For the reel we chose the Guideline Halo, which has been our best-selling fly reel for sea trout in recent years and has repeatedly proven its functionality and durability even in salt water.

Fliegenrute - Guideline LPX Coastal 9'3'' #6

The Guideline LPX Coastal in class 6 is the perfect light all round coastal rod and is perfect in calm conditions but still powerful enough in a stiff breeze. If you could only choose a single inshore rod it would probably be a 6 or 7, if you like to fish extra light the 6 is a perfect choice. With the LPX Coastal you can tell that it is optimally designed for coastal fishing, it is particularly light in construction, yet powerful and fast. This makes it easy to cast consistently long distances all day long.

Fly Reel - Guideline Halo 67

For us, the Guideline Halo is currently the best fly reel for coastal sea trout fishing in terms of value for money. It is saltwater resistant, works reliably, has the optimal weight and an attractive, modern design. It is milled from a block of aluminum and comes with a soft-starting, encapsulated disc brake system.

Fly Line - Guideline Coastal Evolve WF #6

With a club weight of 15.5 g, the Guideline Evolve #7 is the perfect fly line for the Guideline LPX Coastal #6. The head loads the rod quickly without overloading it at any point. The taper of the new Guideline Coastal is perfectly tailored to the needs of the Baltic Sea coast and also presents larger flies at a distance. Long casts succeed with ease and even with little back space you can still bring the fly to the fish.

You have the choice between the Guideline Coastal Evolve in Floating, Slow Intermediate or Fast Intermediate. We recommend the Slow Intermediate for most purposes, but if you're specifically looking for a lightweight combo for flat areas or dry fly fishing, go with the Floating. If you primarily fish in very deep water, then the Fast Intermediate is also a very good choice.

Leader - K&HD Fluorocarbon leader twisted

Our twisted leaders are easy to cast even in strong winds and you can easily lengthen them in calm conditions. The twisted piece of 1.60 m length ensures that the leaders stretch better than conventional pulled leaders.

We attach a leader ring directly and extend the leader with 1.20 m fluorocarbon so that you have the combo ready to use.
